Archdiocese Archives in Łódź (Archiwum Archidiecezjalne w Łodzi) (Poland)

Originally the Archive consisted of parish files, which were included in the Łódź diocese, established on December 10, 1920. In September 1921, the Warsaw Metropolitan Curia transferred to Łódź parish files (119 units) and personal files of priests (100 files). After 1925, the resources of the Archives were increased by files handed over by the diocese of Włocławek.
