Whether family research, local history or scientific work: you are at the right place in the archive of the Altholstein church district. You can find chronicles, baptismal records, marriage records and death records from all of the Altholstein parishes from the outskirts of Hamburg via Bad Bramstedt and Neumünster to Kiel. The records go back to the Middle Ages. All church registers are available on microfilm (fiches). In addition, archives of the Altholstein church district, its institutions and its predecessors, the Kiel and Neumünster church districts, are stored on our shelves. Make an appointment with us and visit us in Neumünster. The archive is housed in the former Bugenhagen chapel.
