Diocesan Archives in Włocławek (Poland)

The Diocesan Archives in Włocławek have been operating under this name since 1953. Before World War II, it was called the Archives of the Włocławek Chapter, which was a legacy from earlier centuries, when bishops resided little in Włocławek, and care for the entire diocese files was entrusted to the chapter whose members permanently resided at the cathedral.
