Diocese of Viterbo Archive (Archivio Diocesi di Viterbo) (Italy)
The Diocesan Historical Archive of Viterbo collects a huge amount of documentary material (about 26,000 units dated between the 14th and 20th centuries). In fact, what is usually defined as a diocesan archive consists, in reality, not only of the documents produced by the Curia and the bishop, but also of the documents of various entities that have made and are part of the diocese. Therefore, there are also numerous archives which over the years have been aggregated to the diocesan archive.
