Kraków National Archives - Nowy Sącz Branch (Archiwum Narodowe w Krakowie Oddział w Nowym Sączu) (Poland)
On September 2, 1878, the National Archives of Town and Land Records began operating in Krakow, and this date is considered to be the beginning of the National Archives in Krakow. After regaining independence, on October 1, 1919, the Archives were taken over by the Ministry of Religious Denominations and Public Education as the Land Archives. In 1936 it was renamed the State Archives.
