Pasquotank County Courthouse (NC) (United States)

Pasquotank County is located in the eastern portion of North Carolina and was named after the Pasquotank Indians; the Indian word pásk-etan-ki means where the current divides or forks. The county is bounded by Albemarle Sound and Perquimans, Gates, and Camden Counties. Clerk Superior Court has divorce, probate and court records. Registrar of Deeds has birth and death records from 1913, marriage records from 1867 and land records from from 1700s.
