The resource includes archives created by church institutions in the Tarnów diocese (Bishops Consistory, Diocesan Curia, curial agendas and parishes). The archive has a reference collection, including Currendy (official journal of the Tarnów diocese), Schematicisms of the Tarnów Diocese (from 1827), as well as studies on the history of the Church and archives. The Diocesan Archives in Tarnów has a research studio (reading room) and a computer room. The research lab accepts applicants where they make a research query.
