The Vedder Research Library was founded to serve as a publicly accessible archive specializing in the documentary heritage of Greene County and the upper Hudson Valley. The oldest materials in our collection date to the 1680s, and everything in our care is available to researchers without advance notice during our posted public hours and on other days by appointment.
