We have genealogists who perform in-depth research in the National Archives at Anchorage, Alaska.
This archive will be closing permanently later in the 2014 year. The less than 12,000 cubic feet of archival records will be moved to the National Archives in Seattle, WA, where they will become digitized for Alaskans. In addition, there will be 7,500 cubic feet of records center holdings at the National Archives in Seattle.

Research fees in the National Archives at Anchorage begin at $300 per project.
