  • Archives of Ontario in Toronto
    Second largest record repository in Canada. Contains both government records as well as private records. Vital records include:

    • Births: 1869-1917
    • Marriages: [ca. 1801]-1932 (Note: There are gaps in pre-1869)
    • Deaths: 1869-1942

Some of the major records sources that can be used for genealogy research in Ontario include:
