Departmental Archives of Marne (Archives Départementales de la Marne) (France)
The Departmental Archives preserve the memory of the Marne department and its inhabitants. Two buildings (one in Châlons-en-Champagne and the other in Reims) house a documentary collection of nearly 34 linear kilometers of archives, dating from the 10th century to the present day: parish or civil status charters and registers, administrative files and legal proceedings, notarial minutes but also private funds, figurative documents (prints, posters, postcards, photographs ...), local books and periodicals, and many other documents yet to be discovered or rediscovered.
