Departmental Archives of Moselle (Archives Départementales de la Moselle) (France)
The Moselle Departmental Archive keeps, for the Ancient Régime, the records of the courts and jurisdictions, of the stewardship, of the Church (secular and regular, including parish registers) and, for contemporary times, the archives of the General Council (now Department), of the Prefecture, of the courts (including civil status registers), of the decentralized State departments. Some collections cover these two periods, such as notarial minutes or municipal archives deposited. In addition, there are private records, deposited or given by individuals, associations, companies, etc.
